Since I have but one workgroup, and both computers are connected to that workgroup via the same router, I doubt that connection is the problem. These computers never were connected to a Homegroup.

I use Windows Defender and the firewall that came with Windows I simply do not understand how inconsistent Windows 10 is in sharing files. Those mapped drives still function. Similarly, Computer B does not show Computer A as a networked machine, even though there are networked drives.

They seem to be trying to us ACL like in a corporate environment and force it on home users. There are also some that say the network will block any machines from showing up if smb1 active. Im still looking for work around. This site in other languages x.
